Debasish Bhattacharyya, MD
"The practice of pain medicine has been a truly gratifying experience for me. It reminds me daily of one of the core purposes of medicine: to relieve suffering. I feel privileged to be part of an outstanding organization that is dedicated to that purpose."
Dr. Bhattacharyya is board certified in pain management through the American Board of Pain Medicine, and in neurology. He received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed his residency training in neurology at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. During his residency, Dr. Bhattacharyya took a keen interest in the field of pain management. After three years of working with an Ohio-based multi-specialty physician group integrating the services of orthopedics, neurology, and pain management, Dr. Bhattacharyya returned to Wisconsin to further pursue his interest in pain management. He has a clinical interest in treating patients with migraines, fibromyalgia and neuropathic pain, as well as back pain.
In his spare time, Dr. Bhattacharyya enjoys playing tennis, skiing, traveling and photography.
